Mid Length Boards

MID LENGTH SURFBOARDS

Not too big, not too small; mid length surfboards are great for those surfers wanting to catch waves easily while still retaining a certain degree of maneuverability. The features of a mid length surfboard include the full nose, low-to-moderate rocker, boxy rails and mid-to-high volume. Often referred to as a “mini-mal”, and popular for being very stable, mid length surfboards are typically 7 – 8 feet in length and really shine in small to medium size surf.

Fish Surfboards

FISH SURFBOARDS

Fish shaped surfboards have a wider outline through the nose, centre and tail, and are typically but not always designed with a swallow tail. These surfboards have a low to flat rocker profile, which not only makes them very stable, but ideal for smaller, softer surf conditions because they can easily hold speed. Fish shaped surfboards come in all sizes up to 8’0″, and are often used as a transition board between a mid-length and a shortboard because of their versatility and usability.

Performance Surfboards

PPERFORMANCE SHORTBOARDS

Shortboards are designed for high-performance surfing and allow the rider to explore the most critical parts of the wave. These surfboards have refined features and are lower in volume and width. They have plenty of rocker and advanced bottom contours, which makes them sensitive and highly responsive. Shortboards allow the rider to tap into their full potential, and are generally reserved for intermediate-to-advanced surfers who are capable of generating speed and acceleration
